Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery Reclamation Project

The Department of Veterans Affairs has completed a reclamation project for Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery. This included aligning and leveling all the tombstones and replacement of all sod.

old tree is gone. It was to dead and had to be
removed.

This is the process that was done to reclaim the cemtery.

Each tombtone was measured from where it was removed so that it could be put back exactly in place.
